Frequently Asked Questions
Waiting Lists
We have one "waiting list" per breed. Our "waiting list" is not litter specific(only breed specific), so we are are constantly excepting deposits. To get on the "waiting list” it take a $350 non refundable deposit. The deposit goes towards the total amount due for the puppy. If there isn’t a puppy available that you are looking for once it’s your time to pick the deposit is transferable to another litter. Once a specific puppy is picked the deposit is no longer transferable. Picking is determined by the order we receive deposits. Picking is started at 2-3 weeks.
Please, understand the deposit is non refundable under any circumstance. Please make sure that you want a puppy from us before placing a deposit. When we “project” next litters that is only educated guesses. Dogs don’t always cycle at the exact same time. So please know that deposits are non refundable and I expect you to do your homework before placing a deposit.

What do "Select Pups" puppies come with?
Our puppies are all updated on vaccine and de-worming when they are ready to go home at 8 weeks of age. At 6 weeks we always vet check them. I always send a small Ziploc® bag of the food they are eating. We also rehome our puppies to pet home only with a Health Guarantee and a Spay/Neuter Contract. (see below.)
Things a new dog owner may need.
Crate with a divider
(We send home a small Ziploc® bag of the dog food your puppy is on when it is in our care.) Some good brands of food are:
Chew toys
- Divider to make the crate smaller when the puppy is smaller. It is easier to crate train your puppy when the puppy only has enough room to lay down comfortably and turn around. The reason for this is because it is natural for dogs to not want to go potty where they lay down.

Chew toys
- I like the nylabones
- I like the coil up leashes
- I like the wire combs
Pickup or delivery
Once you have found that perfect puppy that was meant just for you, you can either pick up your puppy in person or have the puppy transported to you. Pickup would be our preference only because we get to meet the puppies new mommy and daddy in person. We totally understand when you can't make the trip to pick up your new puppy in person so that is why we have two different options of having the puppy transported to you.
Ground transportation:
We so far have not used a flight nanny but we are ok with it if that is what you want to do.
Ground transportation:
- It usually costs around $300. We have one person we work with when we do ground transportation. He does not deliver to the western states of the United States. He has delivered multiple puppies for us and has always done an amazing job. Usually once he picks the puppy up at our place He usually says he will try to have the puppy to you in several days. The only negative part about using Him is He only starts his routes off first part of the month, and so if your puppy is ready to go home a week after he already started off his route you sometimes have several more weeks to catch his next route.
- It most times costs $450 to have your puppy fly to the airport near you. If the weather is too hot or too cold we may have to get a more expensive flight which would be $500. Delta, United, and American Airlines all have a special program just for pet travels so they will be flying with one of these airlines if they fly to you. When a puppy flies it will come with a Health Certificate from the vet stating the puppy is healthy enough to fly and will come in a pet carrier. To schedule a flight I need the date you want the puppy to fly, name of person picking up the puppy, phone number, home address, email, and the airport you want the puppy to fly into with the airport code. I work with a travel agent that schedules all my flights. Once I have get the itinerary from them I will send that to you. The day of the flight we take the puppy to the airport and personally check in the puppy. All you will need to pick up the puppy at your airport is your ID. When you have received your puppy we would like for you to contact us and let us know that the puppy has arrived safely. (I know it seems scary but we have flown many puppies this way and we have never had any puppies be affected by it in a negative way.)
